A Better Way to Pray

( Study Guide)

After nearly four decades of ministry, Andrew Wommack has discovered some important truths about prayer. His prayer life is much different than it was thirty years ago and the results have dramatically improved!

You may be asking many of the same questions Andrew once did. Is prayer my Christian duty? Is prayer primarily about asking God to meet my needs and the needs of others? Is God's answer to my prayer based on the degree of humility and sincerity? Is answered prayer a sovereign decision of God or do I have the ability to influence Him?

Clear, scriptural answers to these questions and more could significantly change the way you pray. These principles may not be the only way to pray, but if you're not getting the results you desire, consider changing directions; maybe there is A Better Way to Pray.

Believer's Authority

( Study Guide)

The controversial subject of the authority of the believer in Christ is widely discussed in the church today. Andrew Wommack, internationally known Bible teacher, brings a fresh perspective to this important spiritual truth that may challenge everything you've been taught including:

If believers have been given authority, then when, how, and toward what should it be exercised? Don't assume the answer; discover the true battleground and learn how to recognize the real enemy.

Most people believe God created our enemy, Satan, but did He? Understanding the answer will set you free to exercise your authority as a believer.

Is spiritual warfare, as taught in many churches today, valid? Can believers use their authority to fight the devil and his demons in the air, or is the real battle in the mind? The answer is an important prerequisite to winning spiritual battles.

Digging into the scriptures, Andrew reveals the spiritual significance of your choices, words, and actions and how they affect your ability to stand against the attacks of Satan and to receive God's best. Discover the powerful truths behind true spiritual authority and begin seeing real results.

Christian Philosophy

( Study Guide)

Everyone views life through a filter. The Bible calls that your philosophy. It's the way you think and it controls the outcome of your life.

Ask yourself, do you believe the bible is the infallible and inspired word of God?
Do you believe there is only one way to God?
Is God good or judgmental?
Does He control your destiny or is that up to you?

The answers to these questions and many more will determine your philosophy. That philosophy then, will affect the way you see many social issues like creations and evolution, abortion and homosexuality.

Christian Philosophy addresses the way we think, or should think according to the word of God, and applies that in a practical way to the issues we are facing in our culture. It will change the way you view the world forever.

Discipling Through Galatians

( Study Guide)

Throughout the centuries, the church has rediscovered the truths contained within the book of Galatians. These truths have reformed the church, brought revival, and brought the unadulterated truth of the Gospel of God's grace again to the forefront. There is no other book that has changed so many lives as the book of Galatians. It was the first book that was written to an early church that was struggling with the question, How is man made right with God? Discipling Through Galatians ' verse-by-verse commentary was prepared by Don Krow, a former instructor with Charis Bible College in Colorado Springs, CO. It is a study tool you will want in your library as well as a valuable instrument in bringing the insight of God's grace to others.

Discipling Through Philippians

( Study Guide)

Paul’s primary reason for writing this letter was to thank the Philippian church for the gift they had sent him in his time of need. He also used this opportunity to encourage them to look confidently to Christ for their joy and unity and to continue to persevere in their Christian life and faith. Even though Paul wrote this letter from prison, it contains a constant theme of rejoicing. The words “joy” and “rejoice” were used seventeen times in this short epistle. Paul made it very clear that his personal relationship with the Lord was the key factor in his joy. Paul had a special affection for the Philippians. They were not only the first fruits of his ministry in Europe, but these Philippians were the only church that contributed to his ministry after he had departed from their town. Discipling through Philippians is a verse-by-verse commentary study tool that you will want in your library. You can read Andrew’s notes and then create a discussion using the prepared questions, you could go directly to the Scriptures and then ask a question, or you can use this tool for personal study. Customize it in whichever way works best for you.

Discipling Through Romans

( Study Guide)

Recently, a prisoner shared with me how he and a group of men would gather around in the penitentiary and read Andrew Wommack’s Life for Today commentary notes. This generated a lot of discussion, and many people were helped through these men’s Bible study. So I decided to put together a combination of Life for Today footnotes from the book of Romans along with questions and an answer key. We call this tool Discipling through Romans. The beauty of this particular study is that it takes a person verse-by-verse through an entire book of the Bible. In this way, we avoid many of the pitfalls that would emphasize only one particular truth at the expense of another. Expositional teaching is by far a safer approach to examining the Scriptures. I believe that you can adapt this method of study and teaching to your own particular group. You may read Andrew’s footnotes and then create a discussion, you could read the notes and then ask the prepared questions, or you could go directly to the Scriptures (read the scripture) and then ask a question. There’s a freedom to adapt this study and personalize it in your own particular way.

Don't Limit God

( Study Guide)

How do you see yourself? Many of the Israelites couldn't enter into the Promised Land, because they saw themselves as grasshoppers (Numbers 13:33). The Bible says they limited the Holy One of Israel" (Psalm 78:41). If you are truly going to experience God’s will for your life, you need to see yourself the way He sees you. Then, as you think in your heart, so will you be (Proverbs 23:7). In this book, you will discover how Andrew did just that. His story will inspire and challenge you as he reveals how he had limited God through the way he saw himself. You, too, will go from small thinking to imagining yourself successful!

Financial Stewardship

( Study Guide)

Many misunderstand stewardship. When they read or hear that word they think of hard work or obligation. In fact, the truth is just the opposite. As you will learn, seeing yourself as a steward of God's resources is the only way to true financial freedom.

In this powerful study guide Andrew addresses many of the sensitive issues regarding money. He defines God's stewardship, the first steps to financial prosperity, the parable of the unjust steward, the right and wrong perspectives of the tithe and much more.

The Bible has more to say about finances than most major Bible doctrines like heaven and hell or faith and prayer. Jesus used finances and people's attitude towards money to reveal their hearts. Yet, He said that trusting God in the area of finances was least in the use of your faith. It's important to know why.

True Biblical prosperity isn't selfish. It's not for you, it's so you can be a blessing to others. If you have been confused or uncertain about the role that money should play in your life, this book is for you.

God Wants You Well

( Study Guide)

Many people find it difficult to believe that God wants them well. They may be suffering personally or perhaps watching a loved one endure sickness and pain. In either case, they become discouraged after their prayers seemingly go unanswered. They then conclude that God must be allowing this to happen, or worse, that He has caused it. Both are wrong and both bring into question the goodness of God.

In this book, Andrew shares the truth of what God’s unconditional love and grace has already provided. Healing is a big part of that provision. He answers many common questions including those about Paul’s thorn in the flesh, the sovereignty of God and more. If you or someone you know is in need of healing, this book is for you.

( Study Guide)

Learn as Andrew teaches how you can walk in the miraculous. It wasn’t just fate or luck that Peter walked on the water while the other apostles stayed in the boat. So, why do some people experience miracles and others don’t? A fatalistic philosophy will tell you that miracles only happen if God wills them—but if you believe this, it will really kill your faith! If you want to see miracles in your life, the first thing it’s going to take is getting out of the boat! In this series, Andrew shares many of the faith lessons he has learned from God’s Word about walking in the miraculous. If you will receive these truths, you can walk on water too.

Lessons From David

( Study Guide)

The giants in your life won’t stand a chance as these Lessons from David become your very own! Probably one of the most well-known characters in the Bible is David. He grew up a shepherd boy, defeated the giant Goliath, and then went on to be King of Israel. While King David made some serious mistakes. However, he didn’t try to place the blame on other people. He took responsibility and shouldered the blame himself. By doing this, he was described by God as a “man after His own heart.” In this book, you will learn that God has a good plan for every individual. But you can thwart that plan by your own lustful desires and dreams. However, where sin abounds, grace abounds greater (Romans 5:20). Even though David made terrible mistakes that cost people their lives, he repented and was able to complete God’s purpose for his life. God’s grace is evident through the entire life of David. Rather than having to go through your own hard knocks, the author encourages the reader to learn from these life lessons from David. There’s a better way than finding out these truths through your own mistakes. It’s better to learn at David’s expense.

Lessons From Elijah

( Study Guide)

Learning through experience definitely makes an impression, but isn’t it better sometimes to learn from the successes and failures of others? Scripture tells us that those who came before us are examples for us (1 Cor. 10:6 and 11), given that we could learn what to do—and what not to do. Few offer us the lessons that Elijah does. Looking for God’s provision? Elijah dealt with that. Trying to believe God when everything in the natural is against you? Elijah dealt with that too. Battling with self-pity? Elijah faced that as well. Elijah’s ministry wasn’t very long, but it was packed full of life lessons that we can use today. You may not think an Old Testament prophet has anything to teach you, but you’ll want to think again—a man translated to heaven by a whirlwind must have something to share. Explore the right—and wrong—ways to serve God, and learn more about how God honors His servants. This book offers the life experience without the hard knocks!

Living in God's Best

( Study Guide)

Divine health and prosperity are better than divine healing and provision. If you live in divine health and prosperity, you won't need a miracle to get healed or to pay your bills. If you can't see the difference between the two, that may be one reason you only visit God's best instead of truly living in it.

Most Christians live in a place where it's just a matter of time before there's a crisis in their lives and they need a miracle. You might think it would be wonderful to go from miracle to miracle, but that means you'd also be going from crisis to crisis!

Miracles are great when you need one, but you weren't meant to continually get by on them. God wants to change where you live. Let Andrew show you how to live in God's best today!

Living In The Balance Of Grace And Faith

( Study Guide)

Grace and faith are often seen as opposing forces. Many of those who emphasize God’s grace believe once we are saved, His blessings, (peace, healing, prosperity) are then distributed sovereignly as He wills. Many of those who emphasize faith believe what we receive from God is up to us; our willingness to study the Word, pray and fast, attend church, and even pay our tithe all determine God’s blessing in our lives.

The real truth lies somewhere in between. Grace and faith are both essential ingredients in our walk with the Lord. However, emphasize either to the exclusion of the other and the imbalance will make it difficult to receive from God. This lack of understanding has led to much confusion, frustration, and disappointment in the Body of Christ.

One of the most common questions Andrew is asked at his meetings across the country is: “What do I need to do to receive the blessings of God?” It is then often followed by this explanation: “I have been praying, reading my Bible, going to church, and paying my tithe yet I do not seem to be able to get my prayers answered.”

In that question and explanation lies the root of the problem. Like many Christians, they have fallen into the trap of linking God’s response to their performance. It is the very thing the Apostle Paul spent his life of ministry attempting to change.

The answer to their question begins with the correct understanding of grace and faith and how they work together. In this book, Andrew clearly explains both concepts and how living in the balance of the two will change your relationship with God forever.

War Is Over

( Study Guide)

The longest conflict in history lasted 4000 years and ended in a decisive victory nearly 2000 years ago. Still, many have not yet heard the news and they continue to fight the battle of sin and judgment. On the cross Jesus said “It is finished,” victory was declared, and reconciliation began. It was the victory promised when Jesus was born and the angels declared, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14). Is this saying Jesus came to create peace among men? If it is, then He has most certainly failed. The peace he spoke of was not among men, but between God and man. Sin is no longer the issue; the price has been paid once and for all. God sent His only Son to bear our sin, becoming sin itself, and then judged Him without mercy for that sin. Was His sacrifice enough for you? Is God withholding His blessing because of your sin? If you die with an unconfessed sin, would you be lost? The answers in this book will release you from the condemnation of judgment and fear. It will free you to receive the promised blessings of God!

You've Already Got It

( Study Guide)

Have you ever thought, I’m doing everything I know to do, what’s wrong with me? What’s it going to take to get God to move on my behalf? If you have, you’re not alone. It’s a question most Christians ask and yet remain frustrated with the answers they receive.

The answers usually go something like this: If you will pray a little longer and with more sincerity, spend time fasting, read a few more chapters in the Bible every day, and quit wasting time in front of the television, then God will answer your prayers. He’s just waiting for you to shape up.

In other words, your performance is the problem. The fact is, that couldn’t be further from the truth. You’ve Already Got It! Is a book filled with the good news that God’s response isn’t based on the things you must do; it’s based on what Jesus did. As you read, you’ll gain the knowledge to trust God. It’s only the truth you know that will set you free!
