The teaching of Spirit, Soul, and Body is a fundamental truth that is essential to understanding how God loves us, and by doing so, believing and accepting what He says about us in His Word. Each person is composed of three different parts: spirit, soul, and body. At the moment of our salvation, our spirit changes completely, but our soul and body have not yet been redeemed. Have you ever wondered, what changed when you were "born again"? You look in the mirror and see the same reflection—which shows that your body hasn't changed. You find yourself acting the same way and giving in to those same old temptations—it seems that this hasn't changed either. So you ask yourself, has anything really changed?

It is my wish that as we review this teaching we will have a better understanding of how to release the fullness of life we already have in our spirit, and thus grow into this fullness in our physical body and emotions. My name is Fanny Lengua and I have the privilege and honor of serving Andrew and Jamie, as well as this amazing Ministry, as one of the teacher-facilitators of Charis Bible Studies and I hope you will join our study.
