By signing below, I hereby acknowledge that I have read, understand, agree, and consent to the terms of this Charis Bible Studies Notice, Release, and Waiver.
Charis Bible Studies is a service provided by Charis Bible College to certain individuals who desire to teach Bible studies using Andrew Wommack’s products and materials. Charis Bible Study leaders and all related or affiliated persons (hereinafter, individually, and collectively, “Charis Bible Studies leaders”) are independent and are not agents or employees, of Charis Bible College, Inc. or Andrew Wommack Ministries, Inc. Charis Bible Studies leaders do not provide medical examination, advice or treatment, or professional counseling or psychotherapy. They are not licensed medical, psychotherapy, or counseling providers. They teach religious and spiritual principles from the Bible. I understand that any information I receive from a Charis Bible Studies leader is for my personal consideration only. The ministers are not operating as qualified counselors or medical personnel and therefore are not liable to give advice outside of spiritual guidance.
Charis Bible College has no control over, actual or potential liability for, or responsibility for, any actions or inactions of the Charis Bible Studies leaders or over the facilities or premises where the Bible studies are conducted. Charis Bible College makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the safety or conditions of the premises of the Bible studies or of the characteristics of the Charis Bible Studies leaders or other attendees at the Bible studies. Each person attending the Bible studies is solely responsible for their own safety.
I hereby fully and completely waive, release and discharge Andrew Wommack Ministries, Inc., Charis Bible College, Inc. and their parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, agents, officers, representatives and assigns, and all Charis Bible Studies leaders (hereinafter, individually and collectively, “Releasees”), of and from any and all liability and responsibility for any and all claims, causes of action, damages, costs, attorneys fees or equitable relief, for or arising out of a (1) any act or omission of any Charis Bible Studies leader, host, guest or other persons allegedly connected or related to such Bible study, and (2) any condition, risk or danger, present on the premises of the Bible study.
Charis Bible Studies leaders may from time-to-time record video or sound or take photographs before, during, or after the Bible study. I hereby acknowledge and understand that my voice and image, as well as that of my family who may be present, may be recorded by these means. I consent and agree that the leader of the Bible study and other persons connected to the study may edit these images and recordings and may use them for the purpose of promoting or advertising the Bible study or the Charis Bible Studies program, or any other aspect of Charis Bible College, Inc. or Andrew Wommack Ministries and that my image and the recordings may be disseminated in the public domain, including, but not limited to, the internet, television, radio, newspapers, mailings, emails, magazines, newsletters or other forms of communication. I hereby relinquish and waive all claims to any rights of control or ownership over said images and recordings, including, but not limited to, all copyright or other intellectual property. I also hereby fully release and discharge Releasees and the Charis Bible Studies leaders and all connected persons from any and all claims for invasion of privacy, conversion, or misappropriation related to or arising out of the use, publication, and dissemination of said images or recordings.
