Welcome to the Home Page for my Charis Bible Study. Thank you for visiting my page. I attended and graduated from Charis Bible College and would love to share some of the insights/revelations with you that I received from Andrew and the other incredible instructors on Grace and Faith though my Charis Bible Study.
One of the things lacking in a lot of churches are application of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I feel led to lead a group where we will learn, gaine understanding about the Holy Spirit and our gifts and actually practice the gifts of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 says
The Holy Spirit is given to each of us in a special way. That is for the good of all. 8 To some people the Spirit gives a message of wisdom. To others the same Spirit gives a message of knowledge. 9 To others the same Spirit gives faith. To others that one Spirit gives gifts of healing. 10 To others he gives the power to do miracles. To others he gives the ability to prophesy. To others he gives the ability to tell the spirits apart. To others he gives the ability to speak in different kinds of languages they had not known before. And to still others he gives the ability to explain what was said in those languages. 11 All the gifts are produced by one and the same Spirit. He gives gifts to each person, just as he decides.
I believe the Lord wants we as believes to come together and discuss these gift areas, gain an understanding of them and use them in great ways. Why don't we see these gifts in our churches much? We lack understanding. Let's come together, seek Him and learn together what these gifts mean and how to use them. Have an understanding of His love for you. He would have only given us His best so lets explore and understand these gifts. We will be using one of Andrew Wommack’s 25 study guides to do a deeper dive into God’s love and how Grace and Faith work together.
